About

After semi-retiring in 1993, life took on some exciting changes. Time seemed to slow down and the stress of the 9 to 5 slipped away.

Years before, I had met Sandy in a martial arts class, and instantly knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.  At that time, I was working in retail management.  I was doing my job, as well as that of those who were not quite so dedicated.  I felt like a hamster on a wheel!  The only thing changing in my life was the calendar.

Frustrated with the future that laid ahead, we started our home-based distribution company in 1985.  Eight years later we realized our dream of semi-retirement.  I then understood the quote, “You make a living from 9 to 5, but you make a life from 5 to 9.”

I believe the reason that some people have a lifestyle that most people don’t is because they were willing to do what most people won’t.  Simply put, “Just going the extra mile.”  The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is simply the “extra”.

Life has truly become an endless vacation-  travel, golf, fishing, and the pursuit of our many passions.  The biggest blessing by far has been the ability to spend time with family and friends.

We thank God every day for the support of our mentors and friends who have guided us on this great journey.

I do believe that all things are possible for those who believe.
